حُبِّي فِلَسْطِين Volume II

Traces of Being

Volume II: Traces of Being is the second chapter in the ongoing حُبِّي فِلَسْطِين collection - a continuation of an ever-expanding love letter to identity, memory, and the everyday visual language of Palestinian life.

The collection draws from materials that survive in the most intimate of places: family albums, handwritten letters, prison-cell graffiti, and all the small, unassuming markers of presence that history books often overlook. What emerges is a body of work in which clothing becomes testimony, and wearing something becomes an act of remembering- proof that a world existed and that lives were lived.

That a Palestine was, and is.

For those interested in the research, archival material, and stories behind the collection, our sales team can share the research booklet.

20% of proceeds will be donated to the Ghassan Abu Sittah Children’s Fund, whose work provides essential medical and humanitarian support to Palestinian children facilitating the safe transfer of critically injured children and their caretakers from Palestine to Lebanon, ensuring they receive comprehensive medical, psychological, and social care before returning home to continue their recovery.

Proceeds will also support the Edward Said National Conservatory of Music, a leading institution preserving and promoting Palestinian music and education.

We extend our heartfelt gratitude to the Palestine Museum Digital Archive for their ongoing efforts to safeguard and digitise these materials, ensuring that stories, history, and cultural memory continue to live, circulate, and inspire.

A collection made to be seen and celebrated.

“We’ve been reduced to images of rubble for so long that people forget Palestinians had full, vibrant lives. When I was going through these family photographs - girls all dressed up, people going out, dancing, cities alive... It struck me how rich and familiar everything felt. And when I called the families to ask for permission, they were so warm, like family. I wanted this collection to restore that visibility. To let Palestinians be seen beyond ruins and headlines, to be seen in their joy, their everyday life, their personality. To be seen as they were and as they still are,” says Skourti.

A Darwish excerpt features on one of the key pieces, placed with the precision of a couture label. A jersey pushes the collection further into hybrid territory- athletic in cut, assertive in message: “Lies and Genocide”. Palestinian currency, once circulated and now obsolete, hangs from a pair of NS coded embroidered cargo pants which state “Gaza opened our eyes.” These coins carry more than aesthetic weight: metal that has outlived generations, a currency that once held real value until it was made void overnight- cancelling entire family savings with a stroke of policy. Today, their worth lies in what they reveal: proof of existence and proof of imperial manipulation.

A selection of pieces are in stock and ready to ship, while others are available on pre-order. If a style sells out, please refer to the pre-order notes for updated availability and delivery timelines
